Stephen Sanchez is back with new single, “Only Girl”
The single "Until I Found You" reached #1 on Billboard's Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart
Stephen Sanchez, Nashville singer, and songwriter, who has already achieved platinum records in the US, releases a new single entitled “Only Girl”.
Stephen Sanchez said of the song: “‘Only Girl‘ is a dialogue and feeling between rival characters that appear in the universe behind my new song: The Troubadour Sanchez and a mysterious love from Evangeline’s past (seen in the lyric video). Both characters sing from the same heart – longing to be with Evangeline in 1964. With ‘Only Girl’, I want people to feel like they’re part of the 1964 counterculture when they listen to this new era of music. A love-focused counterculture – I want to root that theme of love in today’s world – a world that doesn’t have enough classic romance.”
The rising star debuted this song live, which had fans asking for its official release. Earlier this month, it released a teaser for “Only Girl” online, inciting widespread fan enthusiasm. The song was produced by Ian Fitchuk and Konrad Snyder, who also co-wrote the song with Stephen and Stephen Day. The accompanying cinematic visualizer stars the same actress, Frances O’Sullivan, from the “Evangeline” visualizer and was filmed in London.
Stephen continues to make headlines. A sold-out spring tour recently ended, while the single “Until I Found You” (Double Platinum) climbed to #1 on Billboard’s Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart and reached over 1 billion global streams combined on Spotify. Meanwhile, “Evangeline” has garnered millions of streams so far, and GRAMMY.com reports, “Sanchez is on a roll with a new single, the equally retro ‘Evangeline’.” Recently, Sanchez performed the song live on VEVO Studio.
