The sunset at Castelo de S. Jorge is special, especially in the summer. Nothing better than watching this sunset to the sound of good music.
Until September, Castelo de S. Jorge presents a program where Jazz and World music meet, on Fridays, in a relaxed atmosphere, with a fabulous view over the city.
On the 14th, we receive Jéssica Pina, a Portuguese trumpeter with African descent (Angola and Cape Verde) and with jazz influences, improvised music, and world music. Jéssica Pina was part of the group of musicians who accompanied the American singer Madonna, in her new production MADAME X world tour.
Jessica performs in an instrumental trio of soul, funk, R&B and Pop music, with originals and covers, along side with Anderson Ivo (Keyboard) and Eron Gabriel (Drums).
The entry is free, upon reservation, with ticket pickup on the same day, starting at 6:30 pm, subject to space capacity
