Less than a month before the start of Super Bock em Stock, the Festival lineup is complete. The distribution by days and venues, and the time of the concerts, will be announced soon.

On the 24th and 25th of November, Avenida da Liberdade, in Lisbon, will once again be filled with music, in a cast made up of prominent certainties and also young promises, which will be joined today by The Legendary Tigerman with the special concert “Songs for Dancing, Sweating & Kissing”, Batida b2b Bonga, HILLARI, Jehnny Beth, Smoke DZA, The Cavemen., Carla Prata, Cracki Soundsystem, Kyle Quest, Sounds of All Colors by Mariana Tereso and Pedro Ferro and Zarco.

Paulo Furtado is an artist and multi-instrumentalist linked to projects such as The Legendary Tigerman, Wraygunn or Tédio Boys, and is also a director, actor, screenwriter, photographer and soundtrack composer. Paulo Furtado was born in Mozambique, moved to Portugal at a young age and has since made the world his stage. Without borders and on the pulse is one of the great references to rock made in Portugal, thanks to albums such as “Fuck Christmas, I Got the Blues”, “In Cold Blood”, “Masquerade”, “Femina” or the most recent “ Misfit”. And in 2023 he brought a new album. Between Paris and Lisbon, between the refinement of film music and the sweat of a Rock club, a new Tigerman was born. Somewhere between dance music and punk, between modular synthesizers and guitars, between the raw and the carnal, between the ethereal and great orchestrations, “ZEITGEIST” was born. And it is from this new album that the show prepared for Super Bock em Stock was born.
In his own words, “‘Songs for Dancing, Sweating & Kissing comes from a first idea, actually, from a realization that I was writing songs for people to dance to, and everything I had written and felt – and that belonged to my micro-cosmos – was actually more universal than I thought when I started. The idea of going back to a small, dark club or the big rooms, sweating and dancing, the possibility of kissing a stranger and embracing the chaos of infinite possibilities, all of this was what inspired me to write the songs for this new album, ZEITGEIST. And embracing this idea allowed me to revolutionize my band and turn it, once again, into something that excited me, something dangerous, unexpected with the dose certain unpredictability.”
The meeting between Bonga and Batida became inevitable. “I grew up watching him on television as a Superhero. One day we sat down at the table, because of Angola, and the conversation hasn’t stopped to this day.” The connection between the two is based on the celebration of Angolan culture and tradition, always with an evolutionary perspective. The two of them being on stage, in itself, is already an event, because Bonga does not usually put himself in the position of DJ, nor is this a normal DJ set, it is a moment that brings together two artists, who share history and their complicity with the public. The usual structure of a B2B will be respected: Beat plays one song, Bonga plays another, knowing that this moment goes beyond a simple DJ set. Regarding this spectacle, Bonga said: “He with his options, me with mine. Well, that will make a Boom for whoever is there to check it out and feel it and dance, please.” Bonga b2b beat, to feel and dance, on November 24th, at Super Bock in Stock.
HILLARI is a Norwegian-Filipino artist, multi-instrumentalist and, certainly, a name to listen to with all your attention. From Oslo to the world, this talent began her musical journey when she sang in church. She quickly won over audiences with her soulful music, deeply rooted in genres such as R&B or Soul music. HILLARI has always been passionate about music but only made this commitment to a musical career from 2022 onwards. The sound she presents to the world is characterized by its authenticity, with melodious compositions that cover themes such as faith, identity, hope and detachment. Her debut EP, “How is Your Soul?”, includes five songs. “Gracious Sunshine”, “Hopeful”, “Loyal”, “Desperate Soul” and “Fall into Place” show HILLARI’s best qualities as a performer, but also as a composer and lyricist. This new talent will participate in the edition of Super Bock em Stock, on November 25th.
Jehnny Beth is one of the most charismatic women in rock today. Whether making music or writing, Jehnny is capable of challenging the audience’s limits – and even his own. Her commitment to the idea of pushing boundaries was very evident in her journey with the band “Savages”. Albums like “Silence Yourself” (2013) or “Adore Life” (2016) brought a strong feminine energy to the English post-punk scene in the second decade of the 21st century. Despite the band’s success, Jehnny took advantage of a break in the group’s work to develop his own solo language. And the result couldn’t be better. The debut album, “To Love Is to Live”, released in 2020, brings the entire universe of Jehnny’s influence: from his taste for jazz to echoes of industrial music. Owner of a rare charisma, Jehnny Beth also impresses fans with truly unforgettable live performances – and that is precisely what is expected for the next edition of Super Bock in Stock, where Jehnny Beth performs, on November 25th.
Smoke DZA is one of the most interesting rappers of the moment, offering hip-hop with several dimensions and capable of pleasing various audiences. He appeals to lovers of the golden age of hip-hop, as well as integrating contemporary features into his sound that connect him to the best that is being done today. Active since the beginning of the century, the Harlem rapper began to gain attention in the duo Smoke&Numbers, but it didn’t take long for him to consolidate his fame, also solo, thanks to mixtapes as intense as “Rolling Stoned”, “Rugby Thompson” or ” Dream.Zone.Achieve”. These three records showed an artist capable of facing risk without losing sight of his desire to reach an ever-widening audience. And the truth is that this commercial success arrived, thanks to songs like “Don’t Smoke Rock”, a collaboration with Pete Rock, and others. Since then, Smoke hasn’t stopped creating and surprising, with several solo projects or collaborations with some of the best names in hip-hop today. “Statue of Limitations”, with Benny the Butcher, or “Full Court Press”, with Wiz Khalifa, Big K.R.I.T., and Girl Talk, are good examples of this. He is, therefore, one of the strongest names in international hip-hop who will be visiting Lisbon, on November 25th, at this year’s edition of Super Bock em Stock.

Carla Prata is an artist whose roots are between Portugal and Angola, despite being born in London. Her alternative R&B, embracing all of her African genesis, seems capable of conquering the world. Carla Prata has always shown her talent and versatility, winning over the public with her audacity in crossing genres and testing the supposed limits of music. Her stories and her origins contribute, of course, to this diversity. Names like Frank Ocean and The Weeknd are part of a list of influences that don’t end with the most obvious names: just listen to her to realize that Carla Prata has an ear tuned to the best R&B of today, but also to the entire lineage of its musical roots. “Se Tu Quiseres” (prod. Charlie Beats) is one of the songs that has already surpassed the one million views mark on YouTube. As you can see from the description, this is an artist that matches what you expect to find at Super Bock em Stock. Carla performs at this year’s edition of the Festival, on November 24th.
Cracki Soundsystem is the meeting between producers and DJs from the Parisian label Cracki Records. Responsible for discovering talents such as Agar Agar, Saint DX or L’Impératrice, organizers of memorable outdoor parties and also founders of the Macki Music Festival in Paris, together with their friends from La Mamie, Cracki’s stamp is always guaranteeing lots of dancing, energy, good vibes and great music. It is therefore expected that these producers and DJs will bring to Portugal a set of positive and bright sets, always in tune with the spirit of the audience in front of them. And they promise to transform Super Bock em Stock into an authentic dance floor, on November 25th.
Kyle Quest is a creation of the mind of Diogo Braga. He revealed an interest in music from an early age, becoming the drummer for Zanibar Aliens at just 14 years old. With the band, he released four albums between 2016 and 2020. The name Kyle Quest was born with the release of “Dreams Of Love” in 2019 and, a year later, Kyle Quest’s universe intersects with Stckman’s, starting like this the collaboration between these two young people passionate about music. This meeting was a crucial moment from which Kyle Quest began to develop his sound, which resulted in songs such as “blow my mind”, “time w u”, “cup of tea” and “automatic”. In October 2021, he released his debut EP, “Be A Good Boy.” Kyle Quest now presents “get involved.”, an album in which he achieves a cohesive and mature sound, always dictated by infectious melodies. In a soft and somewhat romantic way, “get involved.” It is a journey full of emotions. Some themes are lighter and will make you want to dance on sunny days, while others are more raw and honest, and can result in moments of reflection on cloudy days full of rain. “get involved.” it was entirely produced and written by Kyle Quest and mastered by Diego Salema Reis. And these new songs can be heard by the audience at Super Bock em Stock, on November 25th.

Mariana Tereso and Pedro Ferro were selected through an online #OneStep4MusicFest competition and through the artist collective Sounds of All Colors, thus gaining the opportunity to perform at Super Bock em Stock. In addition to being a collective to support and promote emerging artists, Sounds of All Colors aims to transmit a message against Racial Discrimination and Gender Inequality.

Singer and composer Mariana Tereso was born on June 19, 1999. She began studying music when she was just eight years old at the Escola de Música do Conservatório Nacional, after three years of studying in the Firefighters Philharmonic Band. In 2015 she participated in the program The Voice Portugal and, in 2020, she started releasing her own songs, in the bedroom pop style. Its second single, “Solivagant”, reached a place on the “New Music Friday: Portugal” and “Chill Total” editorial playlists on Spotify, and its third single, “Fika”, reached first place on the iTunes Charts in Portugal. His single “Stick With Me” became the most listened-to song in Portugal on the “Deezer” streaming platform and “third point of view”, his most recent work, also reached first place on the iTunes Charts in Portugal. At the moment, his work already has more than 200 thousand streams and 7 thousand followers combined across all platforms, a clear sign that the music he creates resonates with the public.

Pedro Ferro is a pop singer and songwriter. His music is coloured by genres such as indie, rock and alternative music. In recent years, Pedro has been performing and busking in cities such as New York, Munich, London, Geneva and Lisbon. He was on a television program in Portugal called “La Banda”, where he went on to the gala stage, even performing at Campo Pequeno, which gave him a presence on social media. He was also in a band called “Rivertied”, taking on the position of guitarist and lead vocalist. In this challenge, he gave concerts across the country, including a concert at the Hard Club in Porto opening for Against The Current. Pedro finds inspiration in artists such as Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, The 1975, John Mayer and The Weeknd. He has now released his EP “Half Past Four”. His music is filled with heartfelt lyrics, stirring guitar work, soulful vocals, electric performances, and a lot of love for his craft.

Mariana Tereso and Pedro Ferro are chosen from the #OneStep4MusicFest competition to perform at Super Bock em Stock, on November 24th.

After their debut in 2017 with the EP Zarcotráfico, ZARCO released their first full-length record, “Spazutempo”, on Cuca Monga. “Vitamina Z”, the album’s presentation single, was released in August 2019. “Spazutempo” was recorded between Mogofores and Calçada de Sant’Ana, in Lisbon, with production by the legendary José Moz Carrapa and the iconic Diogo “Horse” Rodrigues. “Don’t Remember Ao Diabo” is ZARCO’s return journey. These six new songs are based on four stages: “Apartamento”, “Rites of Entry”, “Viagens Além Limites”, “Renascimento”. Acoustically, the band breaks the silence and unfolds to find himself. What did he find? Perhaps a way of being. In this new instrumentation, ZARCO suggests that, in a descent into hell – or by virtue of the rise of evil -, there is always a way to escape or to face misfortunes: sing. Singing as an analogy for any form of artistic expression that helps us understand the world beyond what the eye can see. And the invitation to sing will also be made to the audience at Super Bock in Stock, on the 24th of November.
