The holders of the three-day pass will be able to camp, “from the Wednesday before the beginning of the festival until Sunday“, that is, from 17 to 21 July.

In the years that the festival took place in Meco, accessibility was one of the aspects most criticized by the public.

First, in the offer of direct transport alternatives from Lisbon, and return at the end of the night, whose use is recommended! There will also be free buses to the beach, which will take the route between Herdade do Cabeço da Flauta and Praia do Meco, as well as the Pedestrian Path with direct access to the Lagoa de Albufeira, in order to avoid the need for use of own transport by the public who, having acquired the pass for the three days, opt for the free camp of the Festival “, reads the statement released today.

In addition, “working together with the partners will help to optimize mobility, such as Via Verde, through the Via Verde Transport app, as well as ride-sharing and car-sharing services, some of the solutions that will be at the service of the Super Bock Super Rock audience, facilitating access to the venue and contributing to a more comfortable, economical and responsible experience. ”

For those who choose to travel by car to the venue, “the parking lot of the festival, with capacity to accommodate thousands of cars, will have signs, lighting and equipment for parking assistance.”

In addition, “always in close coordination with the competent authorities, traffic management will be done on the road linking the Rotunda of the Grilo Landmark to the Festival“.

The promoter also reminds us that today there are “alternative ways to reach the Roundabout of the Grilo Marco, namely using the A33, which did not exist in 2014,” when the festival took place in Meco for the last time.

The first edition of the SBSR took place in 1995 at the Gare Marítima de Alcântara in Lisbon, after which the festival took place, among others, in the Passeig Marítimo de Algés in Oeiras, and in Parque Tejo and Parque das Nações, both in Lisbon.
