The Portuguese folk band returns to the stage on August 21st, at 10 pm. The concert will take place at the Palco Vale, of the Afonso Lopes Vieira Festival, inserted in the Cultural Summer 2020 of São Pedro de Moel.
2020 is the year in which a new stage begins for the Tanira, with the return to composition and editing of originals. The need for reinvention (even before the pandemic forced them to do so) exploring new paths and sounds, culminates in “½ @”, the band’s second album, still without a debut date and which follows “Arcos Voltaicos” (2013).
Although they consider themselves to be a folk band, Tanira fuse still other sounds such as rock and world music, the product of the different influences and musical experiences of their elements.
