The singer won Video of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards for All Too Well: The Short Film
After breaking the record for the only artist to win three Video of the Year awards at the MTV Video Music Awards, now with All Too Well: The Short Film, Taylor Swift has revealed that she will release a new album on October 21st. The album is called Midnights and is now available for pre-order on the singer’s official website.
Taylor Swift said in a statement about this new album:
“We lie awake in love and fear, in turmoil and in tears. We look at the walls and drink until they answer us. We twist ourselves into the cages of our own making and pray that we are not – at this very moment – on the verge of making some fatal, life-altering mistake.
This is a collection of songs written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams. The floors we climbed and the demons we faced. For all of us who turned around and decided to keep the lights on and keep looking – hoping that maybe when the clock strikes midnight… we’ll find each other.
Midnights, the stories of 13 sleepless nights spread across my life, will be out on October 21st. Meet me at midnight.”
Midnights is Taylor Swift’s first album of originals since 2020’s evermore and folklore, having, however, also reissued Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version).
