Taylor Swift made history again by becoming the first female artist to reach the milestone of 100 million monthly listeners on the streaming platform Spotify.
It was through social media that the platform announced the feat, writing: “Queenly behavior! On August 29th, Taylor Swift became the first female artist in the history of Spotify, to reach 100 million monthly listeners.”
The news comes after Taylor Swift released “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” in July. The album reached number 1 on the Billboard top 200 and made her the first living female artist to have four albums in the Billboard top 10 simultaneously.
On October 27th, another reissue arrives, “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” and we will be able to hear Taylor Swift live, in Portugal, on May 24th and 25th, 2024, in Lisbon.
