Teddy Swims Debuts in Portugal at Alive’26
Passeio Marítimo de Algés, July 9, 10 and 11, 2026
NOS Alive’26 welcomes Teddy Swims’ debut in Portugal. One of the most heard voices of 2024 will now take the NOS Stage on July 11th.
Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, singer-songwriter Teddy Swims is one of the most powerful and distinctive voices in contemporary music. A Grammy Award nominee, the artist has captivated global audiences with his unique fusion of R&B, soul, and pop, marked by raw emotion, soulful resonance, and lyrics that explore love, loss, and self-discovery.
2024 marked a turning point in his career, with the multi-platinum hits “Lose Control” and “The Door,” taken from his debut album I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1). “Lose Control” reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the longest-running song in Hot 100 history and reaching 6x Platinum, with over 4 billion streams. The song topped five radio formats and earned Teddy a spot in the prestigious Spotify “Billions Club.”
With over 12 billion total streams, Swims has established himself as one of the greatest voices of his generation. His overwhelming success earned him a nomination for Best New Artist at the 2025 Grammy Awards, as well as three nominations at the BET Awards: Best New Artist, Best Collaboration, and Best Male R&B/Pop Artist. He also won prestigious international awards, including Best International Album and Best International Artist at the Los 40 Music Awards, Most Radio Airplay in France, and two Billboard Music Awards for “Lose Control” (Top Hot 100 Song and Top Radio Song).
In 2025, he released the second part of the project, featuring the standout singles “Bad Dreams,” “Guilty,” and “Are You Even Real” (feat. GIVĒON). The journey culminated with the full-length album, I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy – Complete Edition, released on June 27, 2025. This 32-track collection includes collaborations with Muni Long, Coco Jones, GloRilla, Raiche, and BigXThaPlug. This deeply emotional project follows Teddy’s journey toward self-acceptance and personal healing—an honest exploration of his own wounds, transformed into music with vulnerability and hope.
Teddy Swims makes its debut at NOS Alive’26, on the same day as Florence + The Machine, Lorde, Buraka Som Sistema, and Pixies.
NOS Alive returns to its traditional home on the Passeio Marítimo de Algés on July 9, 10, and 11, 2026.
