Tejo Kids Race takes a lot of excitement to small athletes
An obstacle course and inflatables, zumba kids classes, face painting and balloon modeling are part of the 2nd edition of the KIDS Tagus Race.
This event promises to bring a lot of excitement to athletes from 5 to 12 years old, on September 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the High Performance Athletics Center of Jamor, in Oeiras .
In addition to its playful and sporting aspect, this initiative also has a solidarity aspect, since the total revenue of the value of the inscriptions (three euros each) and of the additional donations will revert to the David Vaz Association, entity whose mission is caught with the support of research projects in the field of oncology and the promotion of sport and mutual aid.
This is a tribute to David Vaz, an athlete and professional dedicated to the promotion of sport, with a strong connection to the Tagus Race, having been the speaker and animator of the event for several consecutive years.
The Tagus Race KIDS is an organization of the Municipality of Oeiras, with the support of New Balance and Sumol-Compal, and anticipates the historic Tagus Race that takes place in Oeiras on September 23 at 10:00 am, between Algés and the Tower Beach.
