Silver day for the Portuguese sports, after Telma Monteiro became the European vice-champion of the -57kg category on Thursday, in Prague, capital of the Czech Republic.
The Portuguese judoka was defeated in the final by Hungarian Hedvig Karakas, through punishments, the third after 4m18s of the gold point of the fight.
The 34-year-old Benfica athlete now has five titles, two silver medals and seven bronze.
