Teresa Bonvalot and Frederico Morais win the first leg of the Portuguese surf league

In the final, played at Praia do Cabedelo, Morais beat Filipe Jervis with a total score of 17.15 points, in his two best waves, against the opponent’s 10.20 points.

In the semi-finals, the two surfers had left Tomás Fernandes and Afonso Antunes behind, respectively.

Bonvalot, a 20-year-old athlete from Cascais, obtained a global score of 16.05 points in the final two best waves, while Carolina Mendes ended her performance with 12.85 points.

In the semi-finals, the two surfers had left behind Kika Veselko and Yolanda Hopkins, respectively.

Figueira Pro was the first world surfing event to be held, after the interruption caused by the covid-19 pandemic, being the inaugural stage of the five that make up the Portuguese circuit.
