Ineews was in Chiado, to hear the young fado singer, on the 9th she had already been at Fnac Alfragide, Saturday at Fnac Chiado and Sunday at Fnac Almada and presented her album “Lugares” to the public.
With the seal of the Museu do Fado Discos, this is the first work of the fado singer, who has had fado in her veins, since childhood surrounded by music, she received a taste for Fado from her grandfather Vicente da Câmara.
At age 11, he sings in public for the first time, and at 15 he starts singing in fado houses and travels the country in a family project.
“Lugares“ refers to the different spaces, physical or mental, important to the fado singer. It is also a celebration of this diversity of states of mind that emerge in the very impermanent reality in which we live.
The fado singer sang some of the fados that are part of her debut album, such as “Passaste”, and “Olhos Verdes” both with lyrics by Nuno Ciqueira, “Dizer adeus é tão triste” with lyrics by José da Câmara, and one of Teresa’s favourite fados, followed with lyrics and music by Pedro Campos “Saia Preta”.
Teresa Câmara was on stage in the company of two excellent musicians, Armando Figueiredo on the fado viola and Rui Petisca on the Portuguese guitar, followed by “Fado do Rosário” and to finish she sang “Fado em cinco estilos” and “Conversa com o fado “.
