The fun and uninhibited play is in Lisbon for a short season at the Armando Cortez Theatre with three weekly performances on Friday and Saturday at 9 pm; and Sunday at 6 pm.
Teresa Guilherme returns to the Lisbon stages with a show that promises to answer everything that has not been said. “The Vaginas and I” will premiere on January 9 at the Armando Cortez Theater, where it will remain on the scene until February 2. The play, written by Teresa Guilherme and Miguel Dias, addresses with humour and in an interactive way female sexuality and the secret conversations that women have between themselves (and that men do not dream about) about their relationships with their husbands.
Before making her debut in the theatre, in 2006, with Miguel Falabella, Teresa Guilherme, an indispensable figure of national television, joined the production “Monologues of the Vagina” in 2001. The theme gives again mote to the show that now presents solo and in which it promises to break taboos and prejudices that continue to be a reality of women in society.
In a mind-blowing journey with the audience, Teresa Guilherme demystifies the theme of sex and brings answers to the most unusual questions that have never been answered, but in an uncomplicated, fun and enlightening way. And certainly with a text full of puns.
After the debut in Lisbon, Teresa Guilherme will be on tour through the country, where she will present the funny comedy “As Vaginas e Eu – Tudo o que ficou por dizer”.
