The Portuguese Teresa Portela and Joana Vasconcelos won the bronze medal in Szeged at the Hungarian World Cup in the category of K2 200.
The canoeists completed the race in 39.47 seconds, with 64 hundredths of the second the Slovenians Janic Ponomarenko and Anja Osterman, the winners were the Ukrainian Mariia Kichasova and Liudmyla Kuklinovska who completed the event with 34 hundredths less.
This is Portugal’s second podium, Fernando Pimenta won another bronze medal in K1 1,000.
