Teresa Portela in 7th in the 500m final
Teresa Portela was ranked 7th in the final of K1 500 meters at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan. The Portuguese athlete made a time of 1:55,814 and got another Olympic diploma for the Portuguese delegation.
New Zealander Lisa Carrington won the gold medal with 1:51,216. Hungarian Tamara Csipes got silver and Dane Emma Aastrand Jorgensen got bronze.
