On May 17th, Teresa Salgueiro, a unique artistic figure in our country who, for nearly three decades, is an emblematic image of Portugal in the world, presents itself at Casino Estoril for what will be the Closing Concert of the World Tour “The Horizon and the Memory”. After filling the main rooms in places as diverse as Taiwan, Mexico, Brazil, Russia, Italy, Spain, Finland, Slovenia, among others, he is returning home, finishing this cycle with a very special concert.
While preparing for the launch of a new show that will take place very soon, Teresa puts on stage a repertoire of songs that celebrates the multiplicity of its facets, bringing us the interpretation of themes of her own, original arrangements for Portuguese songs representative of the musical and poetic culture of our country, of authors and interpreters like Amália Rodrigues, José Afonso, Carlos Paredes or Fausto, not forgetting a tribute to his former group, Madredeus.
It is a unique concert because for this occasion, and for the first time in its course, it is with great joy that Teresa invites to the scene the charming Mariza Liz and Sara Tavares for a meeting that will surely be unforgettable. This invitation is motivated by the deep admiration that Teresa has for these two artists with whom she had the happiness to cross on stage during this period that now closes.
To accompany Teresa Salgueiro on stage will be musicians José Peixoto on guitar, Óscar Torres on bass, Fábio Palma on accordion and Rui Lobato on drums, percussions and guitar.
