The 1975 have just announced their ‘Still… At Their Very Best’ tour, which will take place at Sagres Campo Pequeno in Lisbon, on February 26, 2024.
Tickets are available on September 8th at 10 am at the usual places and at everythingisnew.pt.
This concert is part of the dates announced in the United Kingdom and Europe, which represent the band’s biggest shows ever in Europe and the last shows of the album Being Funny In A Foreign Language.
The band’s previous ‘At Their Very Best’ tour toured arenas in the US, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia over the past nine months, with over 500,000 tickets sold. With stunning sets, performance art, and surprise appearances from the band’s friends, the tour was praised as a band truly at its peak; a claim supported by the abundance of five-star reviews. The 1975’s ‘Still…At Their Very Best’ tour raises the bar even further, featuring a newly expanded production.
The 1975 also recently announced several limited edition formats of their debut album The 1975 to celebrate the record’s tenth anniversary, available from tomorrow (Friday, September 1), the album’s original 2013 release date. – exactly 10 years later.
Over the past decade, The 1975 has firmly solidified its position as a band that has and will continue to impact its generation, with a distinctive aesthetic, a passionate fanbase, and a unique sonic approach.
Released last October, the band’s fifth studio album, Being Funny In A Foreign Language, was well received by critics with praise from The FACE, who described it as “an album with grandiose melodies, impeccable production, and sincere romanticism”, and Rolling Stone stated that the album saw the band “reassert themselves at the forefront of 2020s pop-rock”, having been their fifth consecutive number 1 album in the UK. The 1975 were also crowned ‘Best Rock/Alternative Act’ at the 2023 BRIT Awards.
Now, fans will have the opportunity to meet one of the most notable bands today, on February 26th, at Sagres Campo Pequeno.
