For lovers of good wine, snacks and excellent live music, on February 15, 16 and 17, dare to prove the true taste of Portugal in the 4th edition of the Market of Wines and Sausages, which once again, guarantees three days of celebration to the Ourique Field Market.
[dropcap type=”default”]T[/dropcap]hroughout the weekend, several wines will be on show for tasting and purchase, with brands of green, white, rose, red, and even sparkling wines from various regions of Portugal. Sogrape, Cercial, Casa Santos Lima, Deluxe Space and Casal das Freiras, are some of the producers and distributors that will be present in this wine festival.
There will also be some workshops on wines every day of the festival, given by experts on Friday and Saturday at 7 pm and on Sunday at 6 pm. On Friday, the workshop is called ‘Bairrada and it’s Sparkling’ and will be guided by Célia Alves and Tomás Caldeira from the region of Bairrada. On the 16th, the workshop will be on Vinhos do Alentejo and will be guided by Manuel Costa Vargas, Alentejo. Finally, on Sunday, the workshop ‘Food & Wine Pairing’ will be led by Vicente Themudo.
Throughout the different days of the market what cannot be lacking in musical animation. With a performance that promises not to disappoint pop music lovers, the Grovelanders at 9 pm, will open the first day of the festival, with its characteristic vibe between Pop-Rock, Soul, Funk and Disco. On Saturday, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., the party will be accompanied by Joel Pinto, who through his predominantly classic style, ensures contagious gifts with moments of relaxation, elegance and well-being. Also on that day, at 8:30 pm, the traditional Portuguese fado is followed by Cristina Madeira, who is part of the cast of one of the most prestigious Fado houses in Lisbon.
On the last day, to finish, at 18h22, a session of Out of the Blue, one of the references of National Jazz, closes the Festival of Wine Market and filled in the best way.
In addition to the Wine Festival, the Ourique Field Market has also planned for February some performances taking place on the 2,3, 9, 10, 14, 23 and 24 February with bands such as Belle Blue, Monkey, Fenix, Sofia Hoffmann and still sessions of Out of the Blue.
