Brothers Chris and Rich Robinson return to the stages to revive their debut album, “Shake Your Money Maker”, at Campo Pequeno, Lisbon
After several years of broken relationships, both brothers admit to being deeply touched by this reunion. “I’m thrilled & blessed to be playing with my brother celebrating the music we’ve made & bringing our lives together full circle. Long live Rock n’ Roll & The Black Crowes!” says Chris Robinson, and Rich Robinson points out “First and foremost, I’m really happy to have my brother back in my life. To be able to play music again together and celebrate the first record we made the kids, is a gift. To have these songs stand up after 30 years is something I could’ve never fathomed.”
“Shake your Money Maker”, released in 1990 with Def American Recordings, was the debut album of brothers Chris and Rich Robinson with the band The Black Crowes, rekindling the flames of rock at the time. “Jealous Again”, “Twice As Hard”, “She Talks To Angels” and “Hard To Handle” are some of the songs that took the album to the mouths of the world.
With eight studio albums and four live, The Black Crowes followed a path very similar to that of any prestigious band, selling millions of records and performing live all over the place, on the 19th of October it was Campo Pequeno‘s turn to host this Rock celebration, where the trio DeWolff was in charge of the first part.
