The Black Crowes announce their visit to Portugal, on November 14, at Campo Pequeno, for a live celebration of the 30th anniversary of the platinum debut album, “Shake Your Money Maker”.
The tour starts on October 10, in Dublin, and continues with several shows spread across Europe. Tickets will go on sale from Friday, February 7th.
This return to the stages of the brothers Chris and Rich Robinson, culminates in a reunion with the past and with all the fans.
After several years of broken relationships, both admit to being deeply touched by this reunion, even saying:
Chris Robinson: “I’m thrilled & blessed to be playing with my brother celebrating the music we’ve made & bringing our lives together full circle. Long live Rock n ‘Roll & The Black Crowes!”
Rich Robinson: “First and foremost, I’m really happy to have my brother back in my life. To be able to play music again together and celebrate the first record we made as kids, is a gift. To have these songs stand up after 30 years is something I could’ve never fathomed. ”
In the mid-90s, “Shake your Money Maker” proved its strength and charisma by rekindling the flame of rock at a time when the music genre had already seen better days, receiving high praise from the critics of the specialty. “Jealous Again”, “Twice As Hard”, “She Talks To Angels” and “Hard To Handle” are some of the songs that took the album to the mouths of the world.
With eight studio albums and four live, The Black Crowes followed a path very similar to that of any prestigious band, selling millions of records and performing live all over the place.
The Black Crowes are one of the best and most loved rock bands ever. Campo Pequeno is the place chosen to affirm this consolidation, on November 14th.
