Solverde Casinos & Hotéis, the leading brand operating in the areas of hospitality, entertainment and gaming in Portugal, announces that it will host The Black Mamba at Casino Espinho on September 13, a concert that takes place in the year in which the group celebrates 15 years as a band.
An energetic and powerful journey into the universe of blues, soul and funk is the experience that promises a live show by the Portuguese band The Black Mamba. The band, which came together in 2010 with Pedro Taborda (Tatanka), Ciro Cruz and Miguel Casais, introduced itself to the public with its self-titled album and has since gradually achieved success both inside and outside Portugal, with its powerful interpretations and stylized look.
They have already taken their music to Spain, Brazil, the USA and the UK, as well as several big stages in Portugal. The group’s visibility increased exponentially when in 2021 they won the Festival da Canção, being then chosen to represent Portugal in the Eurovision Song Contest, with “Love is on My Side.”
At Casino Espinho, the band will present their new album, the recently released Last Night in Amsterdam, inspired by a trip to Amsterdam and the stories of the city in the 70s. Although the focus of this show is expected to be on the new album, there will be a trip to old hits such as “Love is On My Side”, “Believe” and “It Ain’t You”.
The show will take place at Casino Espinho in a dinner concert format for €60 per person.
