The first edition of the Amarante Percussion Festival will take place from 27 to 29 November.
The Amarante Percussion Festival aims to promote knowledge sharing through percussion professionals, as well as the exchange of experiences between students from different Music Schools in the country, through workshops, workshops, performances, and concerts.
The festival is organized by CCA – Amarante Maria Amélia Laranjeira Cultural Center, which wants to bring to the Tâmega princess music school students from all over the country, presenting a poster with artists from across the Atlantic.
This is the case of Leandro Lui, orchestral percussionist, classical, classical and drummer. He has released a set of three books and will present them in Amarante.
There will also be room for an international premiere of works, such as the Concert with “Pocket Duo + Hélvio Mendes”, right on the opening day of the Festival.
In total, there will be three days dedicated to percussion, promoting the sharing of knowledge through professionals from the percussion industry, as well as the exchange of experiences between students from different music schools in the country, through workshops, workshops, presentations, and concerts.
