The Happy Mess take “Jardim da Parada” to Alcains, Torres Vedras, Lisbon and Mondim de Basto in April

The Happy Mess resume the tour to present the album “Jardim da Parada” after participating in the Festival da Canção. In April, the band will play at the Centro Cultural de Alcains, on the 1st; at the Bang Venue in Torres Vedras, on the 15th; in the Baldaia Palace Gardens, in Lisbon, on the 21st; and at Favo das Artes, in Mondim de Basto, on the 22nd.

On the fourth disc, The Happy Mess celebrate a decade of songs. In “Jardim da Parada”, which includes the singles “Nadar de Costas”, “Perder o Pé”, “Espiral” (feat. Rui Reininho), and “Alguma Coisa Vai Mudar”, the band adopted Portuguese and had the collaboration of Rui Reininho, Capicua, José Luís Peixoto, Regina Guimarães, Alexandre Soares, Bruno Vieira Amaral, Nuno Costa Santos, Rodrigo Guedes de Carvalho, Nuno Costa Santos and Filipa Leal. “Jardim da Parada” was produced by Rui Maia (X-wife, mirror people), Paulo Mouta Pereira, and Kassin Kamal (producer of Adriana Calcanhoto, Caetano Veloso, Los Hermanos).

In their 11-year career, The Happy Mess reached the top of the national charts and were featured in soundtracks (short films, soap operas, and commercials), accounting for more than 2 million views on YouTube with themes such as “Morning Sun” and “Backyard Girl” and “Waltz for Lovers”.

Live, the band has toured the country and abroad have participated in festivals such as Eurosonic (Holland), Festival NOS Alive, Vodafone Paredes de Coura, Super Bock Super Rock, MEO Marés Vivas, Sol da Caparica, Festival do Crato and among many others. and in emblematic venues such as Casa da Música, Hard Club, or Centro Cultural de Belém.
