THE INSPECTOR CLUZO return to Portugal

In December 2025, the much applauded THE INSPECTOR CLUZO returns to Portugal for two concerts under their name.

The acclaimed French blues-rock duo THE INSPECTOR CLUZO is scheduled to return to Portugal for a double date planned for the final stretch 2025.

The band will perform at M.Ou.Co., in Porto, on December 12th, and at República da Música, in Lisbon, on December 13th. These two shows, totally “organic and without backing tracks”, are part of the launch tour for THE INSPECTOR CLUZO’s tenth new album, entitled Less Is More, which will be released in 2025 and reflects the band’s concerns around the concept of “post-growth”, inspired by the musicians’ experience as organic farmers in the famous Gascony region of France.

Composed by guitarist/vocalist Laurent and drummer Mathieu, THE INSPECTOR CLUZO has won over the public and critics with an independent and self-sufficient approach since they took their first steps in 2008. The duo’s latest album, Horizon, from 2023, was included in the list of “50 Best Albums of the Year” by Classic Rock magazine and was featured on the cover of the French edition of the renowned Rolling Stone. With a career that has already included more than 1200 shows in 67 countries, THE INSPECTOR CLUZO also shines live, having taken the stage at renowned festivals such as Lollapalooza, Hellfest and Download Festival, always faithful to their values ​​and the pure and genuine sound of blues rock.

Maximum example of the Do It Yourself ethic, Less Is More, THE INSPECTOR CLUZO’s new album will be released, as well as the nine albums that preceded it, independently on their label, FTBP Records, and features production, recording and mixing by Vance Powell, winner of several Grammy awards for his association with artists as applauded as Jack White or The Raconteurs. Powell, who had already collaborated with the duo on the previous Horizon captured the raw and organic energy of the band, which requires no playbacks and whose reputation is based precisely on the total authenticity of their live performances.

In addition to music, THE INSPECTOR CLUZO is recognized for their work as organic farmers on the Lou Casse farm, where they promote agroecology as a way to combat climate change and preserve biodiversity. The duo’s dedication to agriculture was portrayed in the documentary “Running A Family Farm”, released in 2023, which offers a detailed and very intimate view of the two musicians’ daily lives as agricultural producers. Otherwise, this is irrefutable testimony that the trajectory of this unique band is a unique combination of art, activism and sustainability.
