The Italian Gastronomic Festival returns to Madeira!
The 2nd edition of the Italian Festival in Funchal will take place in the May 31, 01 and 02, in the Almirante Reis Square – by the cable car.
The Italian Gastronomic Festival is back in Funchal, for another edition where the transalpine culture will be highlighted. It will be three days of Italian gastronomy, offering to those who visit this event, the opportunity to taste the best of Italian food with the unique touch of regional flavors.
This celebration has once again the Regional Pizza del Trofeo, in the categories Pizza Classic and Pizza Art, bringing together the best Portuguese pizza masters in a competition that has been registering, year after year, more and more participations. The jury, chosen by finger, will be mostly Italian, highlighting the World Champion Pizza, Antonio Mezzero.
Throughout the Festival, a broad program of activities will ensure the continuous animation of its visitors, with irresistible proposals, which reflect the best of Italian culture. Live concerts by Duo Susy and Tino – with Italian repertoire and acclaimed Cristina Barbosa, Italian DJ sessions, lunches in solidarity with Madeiran institutions, free workshops and show-cookings from renowned Chefs promise to delight the crowd.
