The Lisbon Film Orchestra (LFO) performed two concerts in Lisbon at Campo Pequeno, and in Porto at Super Bock Arena, playing great movie themes, and of course, they dazzled the audience.
[dropcap type=”background”]T[/dropcap]he LFO directed by maestro Nuno de Sá, has beaten good music and good disposition in both concerts of Lisbon and Porto, playing some of the best spas we all know of mythical films Bohemian Rhapsody, A Star is Born, Downton Abbey, The Greatest ShowMan, La Casa de Papel or Game of Thrones.
With fantastic musicians who superbly performed them, but also guest singers Ana Margarida, Patricia Duarte and David Ripado, who further enhanced the concert.
With the room full in the presence of His Excellency the British Deputy Ambassador to Portugal the concert began with the theme of the Star Wars, held clear by images from the film.
This was followed by the Game of Thrones, Harry Potter and Frozen, which featured Ana Margarida. The Orchestra continued its musical journey with Bohemian Rhapsody, Lion King, La La Lande, A Star is Born, which provided an imaginary journey through the films.
Surprising the audience, LFO invited everyone present to participate in a “Karaoke” moment, performing a medley of songs by António Variações, one of the highest moments of the concert.
Skyfall by Patricia Duarte, who also played City of Stars with David Ripado. The singer in the company of Maestro Nuno Sá on guitar, honours Elton John, singing The Rocketman.
The LFO directed by conductor Nuno de Sá, with 56 musicians and 3 guest singers, celebrates 12 years and is the only Portuguese orchestra dedicated exclusively to playing the great soundtracks of films and series and doing it wonderfully.
During the Lisbon concert, there was still time to sing happy birthday to Maestro Nuno de Sá for his 40 years.
The Concert was supported by Rádio Comercial and JMPóvoa.
