The National announce an extra date at Sagres Campo Pequeno
Due to high demand and just days away from releasing the new album First Two Pages of Frankenstein, The National announce an extra date for the 7th of October at Sagres Campo Pequeno, in Lisbon.
Tickets for the new date will be available on April 21, at 10 am, at everythingisnew.pt, and at the usual places.
On April 13th, the band released “Your Mind is Not your Friend” in collaboration with Phoebe Bridgers, the 4th single from the new album, which is scheduled for April 28th of this year.
‘Your Mind Is Not Your Friend’ was composed at a time when Matt Berninger, lead singer of The National was going through a period where he was creatively blocked and unable to write. Accompanying the song, the video directed by Phoebe Bridgers‘ younger brother, Jackson Bridgers, features Tom and Matt Berninger.
In October, the American band gives 3 concerts in Portugal, with one date at the Super Bock Arena (October 5th) and two at Sagres Campo Pequeno (October 6th and 7th).
