For the first time, the Americans take to the Rock City World Stage, joining the already announced Foo Fighters on June 21st.
On the eve, the first day of the festival, the recently announced Camila Cabello and Black Eyed Peas perform.

Rock in Rio Lisboa’s soundtrack is getting more and more complete! After Foo Fighters, Camila Cabello and Black Eyed Peas, The Nationals – who perform tonight in Lisbon – return to the capital in 2020 to give music to the City of Rock on the night of June 21st.
It will be four days of pure entertainment in an increasingly magical venue, which this year features 14 attractions, including 6 new features – ESC Online Sports Bar, VR Roller Coaster, Game District, Rock Street Asia, Rock in Rio Kids and a surprising new Ferris wheel.
On the night of June 21, just before the Americans Foo Fighters take the stage, The National will conquer the audience with a spectacle that is expected to be overwhelming. After a full-fledged 2019 album release (I Am Easy to Find) and a short film, 2020 promises to be even better by bringing Matt Berninger, Aaron Dessner, Bryan Dessner, Scott Devendorf and Bryan Devendorf back to Portugal.
With a 20-year career, the band has a Grammy on their résumé thanks to the album Sleep Weel Beast (2017), the same album that made them stand out in eleven countries and number two on the Billboard TOP 200 In the USA. The hit list includes themes such as “The System Only Dreams in Total Darkness”, “Bloodbuzz Ohio”, “Conversation 16”, among many others.
To these, at the June 21st concert in Rock City, will surely be added new sounds from their latest album, with songs like “You Had Your Soul With You”, “So Far So Fast” and “Rylan” ”
