The Portuguese Hip Hop Championship
The Portuguese Championship of Hip Hop Dance is back in 2020. The best national Crews and Dancers will fight for a spot in the World Championship! More than a championship, an experience of emotions that you cannot miss.
Hip Hop International, founded in 2002, and based in Los Angeles, produces multiple urban, live and televised dance competitions. Among them: “MTV´s Randy Jackson presents America’s Best Dance Crew”, “USA Hip Hop Dance Championship”, “World Hip Hop Dance Championship”, “World Battles”, “Urban Moves Dance Workshops” and “World of Dance ”. Hip Hop International is recognized in more than 100 countries through broadcasts from MTV and other international stations.
Since 2014, and in partnership with the Maia City Council, HIP HOP INTERNATIONAL PORTUGAL has carried out the National Hip Hop Dance Championship – “Portugal Hip Hop Dance Championship”. After 4 editions of continuous growth, it reached its peak in April, with the participation of 157 groups, 1800 practitioners and an audience of 7,000 people over the 3 days of the event. Therefore, in 2018, this organization intends to increase its reach through two regional qualifying events and a national final.
