The President’s Club opens its doors in Amarante

September 29th with Áurea concert

It opens its doors on the 29th of September and aims to establish itself as a reference in the cultural offer of Amarante: The President’s Club Piano Bar and Vinoteca is installed in the recently renovated Cine-Teatro to offer locals and visitors live shows, tastings of wine, among other unique experiences.

The debut of what will be a cultural entertainment space in the city will be marked by a concert by Áurea.

The project comes into being at the hands of Júlio da Silva, an Amarante native based in Bern, but always linked to the land, who is now realizing his dream of putting more than 35 years of experience in hospitality and a strong passion for music at the disposal of the city and those who They visit it in a space that, while being the identity of the region, is of and for the world.

A strong cultural dynamic, in conjunction with the Cine-Teatro’s programming, which extends from music to literature, as well as wine events, is the pillar of differentiation of a space that, “honouring its roots, presents itself with an offer at the level of the best that is done around the world, in a distinct and simultaneously intimate environment”, explains Júlio da Silva.

A project “designed and implemented by Amarantinos – the team, which will soon number a dozen people, is exclusively local – but open to the outside: “We believe that the quality of the offer will respond to the growing demands of the city’s public, attracting also external audiences, namely from Greater Porto”, he adds.
