The Smashing Pumpkins confirmed for NOS Alive’24
The Smashing Pumpkins, one of the bands most loved by the Portuguese public, arrives at NOS Alive’24 to perform on the NOS Stage on July 11th, joining the already confirmed Dua Lipa on the lineup on July 12th.
Tickets are now on sale at the usual places and at nosalive.com. The FNAC NOS Alive’24 Fan Pack, an exclusive pack made with fans of the festival in mind, is also now on sale in FNAC stores and on fnac.pt.
When The Smashing Pumpkins first emerged from Chicago in 1988, the world had never heard of a band like them. The mix of rock, pop, shoe-gaze, metal, goth, psychedelic and electronic come together in a kaleidoscope of sugary melodies with blurred distortion, bombastic orchestration, incendiary guitar riffs and unshakable choruses.
Since its formation, the sound has been something different, never heard before, iconoclastic and totally new — and it continues to be so today.
As a result, they have sold more than 30 million albums worldwide and won two GRAMMY® Awards, two MTV VMAs and an American Music Award.
