The Waterboys are back in Portugal
In the baggage, the British band brings the successes that marked the career and still the new album, released this year.
Remember the themes ‘The Whole of the Moon’ and ‘Fisherman’s Blues’? If you are a Waterboys fan these songs will certainly be familiar to you. The band is back on Portuguese stage.
The British lineup, whose success spun in the 1980s, returns to Portugal for a concert in Campo Pequeno on 27 November.
With more than 5 million albums sold worldwide, the band is set to star in “a memorable concert with the sound of the next alternative rock and acquiring the singularity that distinguishes it in a synthesis that incorporates influences of ‘rhythm & blues ‘,’ folk ‘and Celtic music, among others, “read the statement to the Newsroom.
In what will be a trip to the mythical dimension of pop-rock there will be no shortage of hits from the most iconic albums, such as ‘The Whole of The Moon’ (1985) and ‘Fisherman’s Blues’.
Those attending the Waterboys concert will also have the opportunity to witness the presentation of the new work. In the bag, they bring the latest album ‘Where the action is’, released this year.
As for prices, these vary from 35 euros for the audience, 39 euros for the bench and go up to 60 euros for the cabins.
