See with other eyes

In Lisbon, there is an exhibition that explores other senses than vision. It is called ‘See with other eyes’, it will be at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and emphasizes the work done with people with blindness or with low vision. The exhibition aims to explore different processes of interpretation of works, through other senses than the vision. The exhibition will be visible in the headquarters building of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation only until next November 12. Enjoy.

Caricatures of the time of Salazarism

The Valbom Gallery celebrates 40 years of publication of the set of drawings grouped under the title ‘Portuguese Caricatures of the Years of Salazar’ and the 90 years of the artist with an Exhibition around this masterpiece of João Abel Manta, one of the most important artists Portuguese graphics of the last century. The exhibition is really coming to an end. It is already this Saturday, November 10, that is over.

Double-dose music at Fnac Alfragide

The Fnac de Alfragide counts on not one but two showcases of good music to hear already this Friday. At 6 pm it’s the turn of The Back Teddys. You have time to dine in the area and be back by 9.30pm, a time when Luís Pucarinho will show us the album ‘SaiArodada’

Arena Live 2018

This is an exception because it is on Mondays that it will take place. But note: The Casino of Lisbon is offering us a series of ten concerts to hear until the end of the year at the Arena Lounge. Miguel Araújo live on Lello

Livraria Lello receives Miguel Araújo this Friday for a double event that will show us two artistic sides of one of the most outstanding figures in Portuguese music. Miguel Araújo will present the book ‘Penas e Pato’, with Tito Couto as moderator. Then it will be possible to hear him play some classics, like ‘Walk with me to see the planes’ or ‘The husbands of others’. It is already this Friday, November 9, from 9.30 pm. The entrance is free, as one wants, but it is limited to the capacity of space.

The Art of Mariana Barrote

The young artist Mariana Barrote presents her work in an exhibition that can be seen in Silo-Espaço Cultural, in North Shopping. ‘Enchanted Basin’ is visible until next Sunday, November 11th. And enjoy while there’s time. Learn more by clicking here.
