Fair of the Light in Carnide
The Fair of Light, in Carnide, is one of the oldest in the country, giving animation to Lisbon during the month of September. There is food and drink, handicrafts, crockery and so much more for sale but there is also a good atmosphere and music, lots of music, in a poster that is once again full of well-known – and very different – names of Portuguese music. This Cascais that (i) Lumina
The Lumimna’18 is there to give light to the streets of Cascais for three days. There are artistic light installations, interactive projects and much more to discover under a new cascaense light.
FNAC Live encourages capital
The Fnac Live festival returns on September 21st and 22nd, with Avenida da Liberdade as the epicenter. There are Da Chick, Benjamim, Pheromone, Filipe Sambado, Sardines with Whiskers and PAUS and also the exhibition of ‘Hip to da Hop’, documentary by António Freitas and Fábio Silva. Learn more here.

Somersby Out Jazz continues
It has been news but, with each passing year, it is more and more tradition. And one that is well worth keeping. Out Jazz joins live music in the late afternoon in Lisbon’s noblest green spaces. In September it is in the Jardim do Campo Grande that the party of the Somersby Out Jazz is made. .

An exhibition of 41 works by the American painter Roy Lichtenstein, from pop art, landscapes and posters, has given more color and life to the Colombo Shopping Center in recent months. But attention: exhibition is only visible until this Sunday, September 23.

The Book Fair has animated these days the Gardens of the Crystal Palace. Started on the past September 7 is almost, almost coming to an end. It ends already this Sunday, September 23. Not yet there? You have to go. Oh, that’s it? It is best to go again. There are stalls with books and more books and more books, enough to make ‘bookworms’ faint with emotion. But there are also storybook readings for the little ones, music and book launches, and great opportunities to find authors. The MAR Shopping continues to give us Dominguinhos, Sunday mornings with animation thinking about the little one. This Sunday there is Traditional Atelier – Barefoot, in an event to think of the youngest. It is free but you will need to register. More information here.
