The Weeknd announced as Fortnite Festival headliner

The Fortnite Festival will launch this Saturday, December 9th

The Weeknd has just been revealed as the headliner of the Fortnite Festival, the new musical experience of this very popular video game from Epic Games. Players will be able to hit notes at the right time while watching the artists perform.

They will also have the option of performing in a band with their friends or playing some of the songs by their favourite artists alone on stage.

The Fortnite Festival is produced by Harmonix, the studio that developed the Rock Band video game and will be the first mode entirely focused on music to be introduced by Fortnite. In the past, the video game has created several notable musical events, having hosted concerts by artists such as Ariana Grande and Eminem, and releases of new songs by artists such as J Balvin.

In the promotional trailer for this Saturday’s Fortnite Festival, we can see the new skins, i.e., digital images in the video game, of The Weeknd dancing to the sound of “Take My Breath”, a single taken from the album “Dawn FM”.
