Col3trane
When we hear Col3trane’s songs we soon realize that this is an artist obsessed with music, also as a listener. At only twenty years old, he has to offer us dark and confessional themes, in a perfect synthesis of soul, hip hop and r & b.
Born and Raised in North London, Cole’s earliest musical memories refer to the long car rides he heard from names like David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Prince (his mother’s favorite) and Motown’s greatest hits.
Later came rap, the passion for Nas, Biggie and others, and the desire to make their own music. It wasn’t long before the first tracks began to be released on the SoundCloud platform.
In these times, in an increasingly competitive world, the offer is a lot, but the young Cole’s songs stood out for their quality.
HUATE
Anna Magidson and Blasé form HAUTE, a French duo devoted to r & b and a soul-loving pop.
Both were born in France and grew up across the Atlantic, inspired by American culture and the successes of hip hop and r & b.
The paths crossed in Montreal while studying at McGill University, but oddly enough the meeting took place in Paris a little later, also by chance.
The name Haute goes back to its roots, but also to a certain elegance and relevance of French, even in an English-speaking environment.
In addition to the obvious sharing of references, Blasé and Anna also work hand in hand on all fronts: writing, composing and recording together in a rare symbiosis.
Dream People
Dream People were born in October 2018. Francisco, Bernardo, Nuno, Chris and Boris. None were known until then.
Nuno met Francisco through a Facebook group. Francisco spoke with the artist Surma. Surma advised Bernardo. Bernardo met Boris. Chris appeared in a rehearsal. And so, slowly, they went sewing the Dream People.
Despite this troubled beginning and having known each other so recently, everyone shares a desire to bring new sounds and influences to the Portuguese music scene.
Between synths that lead us into the ethereal dream pop universe and powerful guitars that envelop us in a kind of psychedelic synth rock reminiscent of modern Doors, Dream People music is an exercise in constant reinvention and creative expansion and the search for new identities.
