Abreu Advogados announces the reinforcement of its team and the investment in specialized advice on major real estate, retail, tourism, and construction projects, with the integration of partner Tiago Mendonça de Castro and senior associate Diogo Belard Correia, who are transiting from PLMJ.
Abreu’s most recent partner has more than 25 years of practice and a path linked to some of the most important real estate investment projects in Portugal, being recognized by international directories as one of the leaders in this sector in Portugal.
Tiago Mendonça de Castro has accompanied, along his path, some of the biggest asset transactions and the development of the different phases of some of the biggest real estate projects carried out in Portugal, including advising on the structuring of operations and investment vehicles, in the execution of more diverse real estate transactions and in the development of real estate projects of the most varied nature.
At Abreu, he will reinforce the leadership of the Real Estate practice area, as co-coordinator with partners Rui Peixoto Duarte, in Porto, and Patrícia Viana, in Lisbon, who will now have more than 17 partners and senior associates, thus consolidating the experience and skills of this team, which has stood out in the monitoring of investments by companies, investment funds, family offices and private clients, in all aspects, from the acquisition, licensing and the construction or rehabilitation of assets, up to the commercialization phase or operationalization of assets.
