Tigerman, Greg Izor and Emílio Arsuaga took the blues to BB Blues Fest

The Legendary Tigerman on the BB BLUES FEST stage with João Cabrita and Greg Izor and Emílio Arsuaga at the José Manuel Figueiredo Cultural Forum, Baixa da Banheira, a fantastic Blues night.

BB Blues Fest had a full room to hear the blues from The Legendary Tigerman, Paulo Furtado, this fantastic one-man band, which continues to amaze whenever he enters the stage, this time he brought with him a guest, João Cabrita on the saxophone, who also is part of the Cais do Sodré Funk Connection project,

Paulo Furtado is a standard-bearer of blues in Portugal and organized in Coimbra Festival of Blues and Jazz. The concert starts with “Love Ride” followed by “Me And The Devil Blues” by Robert Johnson, “I’ll make you mine” from his album “Naked Blues”, which was his debut album, of course, “Naked Blues” theme that gives name to his debut album could not miss, from his album“ Femina”, the theme “Then Came the Pain”, with Africa as inspiration, followed “Hey, Sister Ray”, in honour of the great Tom Waits, “Tango Till They’re Sore”.

6 To 4”, original by Vince Neil, “The saddest thing to say”, “Bad Luck Rhythm ‘N’ Blues Machine” were other themes that he performed on the stage of BB Blues Fest in the first part of an excellent Blues night

Greg Izor and Emílio Arsuaga followed, who took the stage for a show of naked and raw Blues, both excellent harmonica players and singers, filled the room whit Mississippi Blues, joy and rhythm.

The musicians provided everyone present with a journey through some of the best blues themes of today and had the company of César Crespo on guitar, Carlos Arsuaga on drums, and Christian Bayle on bass.

In this which is one of the strangest years in our lives, the musicians thanked the invitation to be present at the Festival and to the public that left their homes to see them.
