The first semester program starts on January 22, with a lecture by Paulo Azevedo.
[dropcap]H[/dropcap]umor will be highlighted in the first semester, with shows by Eduardo Madeira, who invites Manuel Marques and Carlos Vidal, on January 30th, by Nuno Markl, on April 3rd, and by Quim Roscas and Zeca Estacionâncio, on May 8th.
On February 6, they take the stage of the Cineteatro Messias Os Azeitonas, to present the show “Ambos os Três Mais Uns”, which will be more than a concert, a meeting of great proximity with the public, toasted with a little storytelling.
A month later, on March 6, Tim, lead singer of Xutos & Pontapés, presents his solo album “20-20-20”.
In the area of music, the reggae band Olla Tshou also performes in that space on February 27, which presents in 2020 the EP “Natureza das Surpresas”.
On April 23, Cineteatro Messias hosts “A História do Soldado de Stravinsky”, with music by the Atlantic Coast Orchestra, conducted by conductor Luís Miguel Clemente, and dramatization and narration by the artist Mário Alves, in a show that will also feature projection of the animated film of the same name by Clive Hicks-Jenkins.
In the theater of childhood, the plays “A História do João Pateta”, on January 23, and “Os Três Porquinhos”, on March 13 are scheduled.
Throughout the first half of the year there will also be an exhibition of painting by Francisco Saldanha, which ends on June 30th.
