Tindersticks and Goose confirmed for Ageas Cooljazz

July 26th features two debuts on the Ageas Cooljazz line-up. Tindersticks, the English band, brings their new album Soft Tissue (September 2024), and Ganso, takes to the Ageas Stage for the first time with their new work Vice Versa (October 2024).

Led by the unmistakable voice of Stuart Staples, the British band will debut at Ageas Cooljazz 2025, where they present their latest album Soft Tissue, which includes the songs “New World”, “Don’t Walk, Run”, “Falling, the Light” and “Soon to be April”. According to The Guardian, Tindersticks’ new album ranges “from 70s soul to shimmering strings, the cult outfit continues to illuminate the fringes of pop music, celebrating the beauty in the little things” (4\5 stars). Tindersticks‘ sound presents a specific atmosphere, with various influences ranging from alternative rock to jazzy environments, resulting in a set of complex, melancholic and intimate compositions.

Ganso will debut at Ageas Cooljazz on July 26th. Together since 2015, Luís Ricciardi, João Sala, Miguel Barreira, Gonçalo Bicudo and Diogo “Horse” Rodrigues, created the third and new album Vice Versa (October 2024), which includes songs such as “Sorte Minha”, “Fetiche Fonético” or “Papel de Jornal”. The band’s first album was released in 2017, Pá Pá Pá, followed by Não Tarda in 2019.

Also confirmed at Ageas Cooljazz are artists such as Benjamin Clementine (4 July), Seal and Beatriz Nunes (12 July), Ezra Collective and Jordan Rakei (15 July), Gilsons and Isabel Rato Quintet (17 July), Slow J and Bokor (23 July), Masego and Razy (31 July) in the 2025 edition of Ageas Cooljazz.

Ageas Cooljazz has 4 Shows per night
With doors opening at 7 pm, the Cascais Jazz Sessions by Smooth FM begin at 8 pm at the Marechal Carmona Park Amphitheatre and then on the Ageas Stage, the first Concert followed by the Grand Concert on the same stage. After the end of the great show on the Ageas stage, the Late Nights begin at the Amphitheater of Parque Marechal Carmona.
