Tindersticks return to Portugal in May for two special concerts at the Coliseums

Celebration of 30 years of career

The British Tindersticks return to Portugal in 2022 for two special concerts at the Coliseums in Lisbon and Porto. The band will be accompanied by an orchestra and several guests. Tickets are on sale at the usual places.

2022 marks the 30-year career of the Tindersticks. To celebrate, the band led by Stuart Staples has built a unique show that will pass through countries with a special meaning for the group. Portugal is one of the countries included in the tour, with concerts on May 13th at Coliseu de Lisboa, and on the following day, May 14th, at Coliseu do Porto.

The concerts will span the band’s celebrated discography, from the debut album ‘Tindersticks‘ released in 1993, to the more recent and mesmerizing ‘Distractions‘. The band will be accompanied on stage by an orchestra and several guests, to be announced in due course.

The Tindersticks were born in 1992 and currently feature original members Stuart Staples (vocalist), David Boulter (keyboard) and Neil Fraser (guitar) and the latest additions Dan McKinna (bassist, in the band since 2007) and Earl Harvin Jr (drummer, in the band since 2010). Throughout their careers, they found a special place in the heart of the Portuguese public, a country where they have always been cherished. The choice of the Coliseums in Porto and Lisbon to be part of the tour thus highlights the importance of the national audience for the group from Nottingham.
