The Tindersticks returned to the Coliseums of Lisbon and Porto, the British band, from Nottingham, performed two more excellent concerts when it celebrates 30 years of career.
Stuart Staples who maintains the same mystique and complicity of the band, in three decades that great quality of composition that raised a loyal audience that didn’t miss this new passage of Tindersticks through Portugal.
There were about two hours in which they covered a part of their discography, their musical history that has enchanted us, themes such as “Willow”, “She’s gone”, “Her”, “My Sister”, “Travelling light” and “Tiny Tears” or “Tiny Tears” passed through the Lisbon room. Themes from his latest work ‘Past Imperct: The Best of Tindirsticks 92-21‘, also had their moment in the concert, as did the theme “Both Sides Of The Blade“.
Stuart Staples was very introspective, with his eyes closed as he used to, at a time when the guitarist took a little longer to resume the concert, he took the opportunity to say “it’s good to be back”.
