TITÃS Meeting live in Portugal

Altice Arena, dia 3 de novembro

A tour commemorating the 40th anniversary of the biggest rock band in Brazil passes through Portugal, on November 3rd at the Altice Arena, in Lisbon. After selling out 50,000 tickets for the São Paulo show in two hours, and four other dates since then, Titãs finally announce that Portugal will also be able to attend their “Meeting”.

It all started in 1982, in São Paulo. Titãs, for many the biggest rock band in Brazil, sold more than 6.3 million albums, with a repertoire full of partnerships with renowned Brazilian artists and several international singers. A unique and singular story. The years passed and the formation of the band was permeable to the entrances and exits of its members. But 2023 brings one of the best gifts of the year for Rock lovers.

Seven musicians from the band’s classic line-up join for the “Titãs Encontro” tour. This reunion features Arnaldo Antunes, Branco Mello, Charles Gavin, Nando Reis, Paulo Miklos, Sérgio Britto, and Tony Bellotto, and will be an epic moment in the history of Brazilian culture.

After the 50,000 tickets for the “Titãs Encontro” show in São Paulo sold out in just 2 hours, the band announced concert by concert, a tour that will cover 19 Brazilian arenas, reaching 500,000 people in more than 20 dates announced until the end of the year. time.

This tour, which celebrates 40 years since the creation of the most innovative band of its generation, could not leave the “brother country” out.

Thus, on November 3, 2023, Lisbon hosts the tour – “Titãs Encontro” – by the iconic group that marked generations. With them, they bring a repertoire of titanic hits, with songs interpreted by the different vocalists, a living symbol that shows that Titãs are a super band that conquers any big arena.

This historic union brings together and revisits the work of each and every artist over these 4 decades, and will unite various audiences. Those who have always followed the musicians’ concerts, and those who will see the seven Titans for the first time on stage.

Jorge Veloso from Vibes & Beats, promoter of the show in Portugal, says:
“We are looking forward to sharing the emotion of the Portuguese public and seeing them rock together again. A unique and unmissable concert is expected, with high interaction with the public and a lot of creativity in the use of LED and Technology.
