Today two lines of extraordinary support are opened to artistic entities

The forms for the support line for professional artistic entities, in the amount of 3 million euros, and the support line for adapting spaces and cultural equipment to the measures resulting from Covid-19, in the global amount of 750 thousand euros, are already online.

The first aims to support the resumption and maintenance of the activities of artistic entities and their regular functioning, taking into account the losses resulting from the total or partial suspension of activity in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Entities that have been considered eligible and not supported under the sustained support program 2020-2021 of the Directorate-General for the Arts (DGARTES), in any of the artistic areas to be tendered, as well as entities that benefit from the sustained support (quadrennial and biennial) by DGARTES.

The second aims to support the adaptation of cultural spaces and facilities to the rules and recommendations of the competent authorities in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, with the benefit of private legal entities with headquarters in Portugal that carry out activities of a non-profit nature and are proprietary and/or responsible for the management of cultural spaces and facilities, such as theaters, cinemas, and cultural auditoriums.
