“Todos os Fados são meus” is the breakthrough single for Francisco Moreira’s new album

“Todos os Fados São Meus” (“All the Fados are mine”) is the breakthrough single for Francisco Moreira‘s new homonymous album, scheduled for March.

The artist states that this theme reflects his passion for fado, being a presentation of himself through a traditionalist approach, based on the works of the authors and interpreters of yore.

André Teixeira is the composer of this theme that takes us on a journey to the 70s and 80s, and to the oldest fado houses where the most emblematic fadistas were heard.

“I come from a new time”, writes António Laranjeira in this poem, and Francisco Moreira will certainly come from a new time, despite his references being fadistas from past generations like Carlos Ramos, Rodrigo, Amália Rodrigues or Beatriz da Conceição, enjoying singing these themes immortalized by them, giving them their personal stamp and their interpretation, “without lines of any color”. All of this makes all the fados yours!
