Multi-platinum British singer-songwriter Tom Odell ends his World Tour in Portugal at the Lisbon Coliseum on October 11th. Tickets are already on sale here and in the usual places.
Music has always been a part of his life, he has been writing since he was 13 years old and success and recognition came in 2012 with the release of the EP Songs From Another Love’, which received the BRIT Critic’s Choice Award (British Music Awards) In the same year. With an intuition attuned to both atmosphere and melody, Tom Odell’s piano-driven odes, dedicated to heartache and pain, are emotional, raw and often muted material.
After 3 platinum albums in the UK, Tom Odell released 2021 his fourth album of originals ‘Monsters‘, a more intimate work in which he exposes his feelings about everything from anxiety to capitalism, from toxic masculinity to politics. “I put my hand over the flame, to see if I still feel any pain,” sings Tom Odell before the haunting, breathy layers of electronic beats cover the song with an overwhelming melancholy.
In a concert where he will present the new album, ‘Monsters‘, he is also sure that there will be space to revisit some of the greatest hits of the past such as ‘Another Love, Can’t Pretend, I Know‘, among many others.
