Tottenham loses with Paços de Ferreira (1-0)
Tottenham went down with a crash in Paços de Ferreira, in a victory that will forever remain in the history of the host club.
Nuno Espírito Santo’s pupils did little or nothing in a meeting in which they showed off with the second lines. The goal that drove a region, and perhaps a country, crazy, was scored by Lucas Silva, with a pass from Nuno Santos, at the end of the first-half.
The second leg of the Europa League group stage play-off is scheduled for a week from now, on August 26, in North London.
