The first concert in Portugal of Sara Correia’s new tour will take place on the 28th.
Estarreja hosts the Freedom Tour with the Cineteatro sold out and the same will happen at Theatro Circo, in Braga, on November 4th. This will be the start in Portugal, after the fado singer made a kind of preview of the new show in Barcelona, first at the 26th Fira Mediterrània in Manresa and, last weekend, at Fundación Caixa Fórum. On October 30th, it will be the turn of Teatro Casyc, in Santander, to host the “Hurricane of Fado”.
These will be the first concerts before a mandatory stop to prepare for the big concerts to present this new album: on March 9th at Coliseu dos Recreios, in Lisbon and on March 22nd at Coliseu do Porto AGEAS.
“Liberdade”, Sara Correia’s new album, went directly to 1st place among digital albums and 2nd place in the global top of best-selling albums, having fallen behind the K-POP phenomenon, “Tomorrow Together”. The album, released on vinyl, CD and digital, is the fado singer’s third full-length and has been very well received by critics and fans. In addition to being the best-selling national album in the week of release, on Spotify, it accumulated more than 370 thousand streams in just one week.
