The BrandZTM Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands report, by Kantar Millward Brown with market data from Kantar and Bloomberg, is built with a consultation base of around 3.8 million customers over 17,000 brands in 51 countries.
In a year marked by the Covid-19 pandemic, Toyota continues to accelerate in electrification. Today there are more than 15 million vehicles electrified with Toyota hybrid technology, since the launch in 1997 of the Prius – the first hybrid car produced in series. With the launch of Mirai in 2014, Toyota pioneered the introduction of the first hydrogen-powered sedan. Today it is preparing to raise the bar with its advanced technology, zero emissions, from electric vehicles to fuel cells (FCEV), when preparing the second generation of Mirai.
