Tribeca Enterprises, SIC and Lisbon City Council announce the dates for the second edition of the Tribeca Festival Lisbon

The first edition of the festival opened with the five-time Oscar-winning film “Anora”. Building on the success of its first year, the Tribeca Festival Lisbon expands to three full days of programming.

Tribeca Enterprises, SIC, its streaming platform OPTO and the Lisbon City Council announced today the return of the international extension, Tribeca Festival Lisboa, which will take place from October 30 to November 1, 2025, at Unicorn Factory Lisboa.

Following the success of its inaugural edition, Tribeca Festival Lisboa expands to three days of programming, featuring a variety of US independent films, Portuguese films, series, podcasts and music showcases, as well as live conversations with international and local stars.

Building on the success of the first year, this year’s festival features enhanced spaces, improved exhibits and an even more welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.

The first edition of the Tribeca Festival Lisboa opened with the Portuguese premiere of Sean Baker’s “Anora“, which won five Oscars at the 97th Academy Awards, including Best Picture. Other highlights from the first year included live conversations with Tribeca co-founders Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal, Whoopi Goldberg, and talent including Patty Jenkins, Griffin Dunne, Chazz Palminteri, Ricardo Araújo Pereira, Daniela Ruah, Sara Sampaio, Joaquim de Almeida and César Mourão.
